Coral Mountain Golf Club, previously named The Golf Club at La Quinta, and before that Trilogy Golf Club at La Quinta, is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in La Quinta, California.
The course first opened for play in 2002. The layout was designed by Gary Panks.
Par for the course is 72. From the back tees, the course plays to 7,146 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 5.064 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 9, a par-5 that plays to 578 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 11, a par-3 that plays to 143 yards from the back tees.
Home of the 2003, 2004, 2005, and the 2006 PGA Tour LG SKINS , this 18-hole championship Southern California golf course has been tested and tried by professional golf players including Phil Mickelson, Fred Couples, Mark O'Meara, Annika Sorenstam and Tiger Woods.
Several sets of tee boxes, including the special Skins tees that play at nearly 7,200 yards, provide a length that is just right for your golf game. Dramatic water features and sand perils complement the golf course fairways, leading to the rolling greens. The natural California desert landscape of the surrounding Coachella Valley creates a boundary of play both beautiful and daunting.

Great course, great improvement from the past. Getting rid of the past General Manager was a huge improvement.

This course some four or five years ago was always one of the best in the Coachella Valley for quality and conditions. Three years ago, the course was sold and the new owners have let the course fall into one of the worst in the valley. Not only has the course fallen into disrepair, but the club house, restaurant and overall ambiance of the golf experience is depressing. Even worst, management has changed five times with no continuity in place. Hopefully the owners will notice they have failed the community golfers and public. Sad for a golf course that at one time hosted the Skins Game.

Course needs more mature trees and plants. I appreciate the fact they only water the fairways and let the bermuda rough go dormant in the winter, it's a nice contrast and is saving money.

Super course for the money. I never get tired of playing it...the staff is really friendly and the Pro Shop and the Clubhouse are very nice.

Nice layout with great views. Not the most challenging but a course that makes you think. I would play again.

We were putting out on #8 and there was a guy working outside on his house at the corner between #8 and #9 w/ a sander or electric saw and he stopped while we putted out and then resumed. THEN, while we were teeing off on #9 he stopped again while we hit. THAT, is a neighbor.....THNAKS!!! Great course for the money.

Beautiful course -- tee boxes, fairways and greens were in excellent condition. Carts were great - each had a ball and club washer on the back of the cart - what a great amenity! Fun course to play in very pretty surroundings (mountains, clear sky, etc.). Play was a little slow. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Pro shop a little small and clothing selection a bit limited. Overall had a great experience and a great round. When in the area again will definitely play there again. Would highly recommend this course to others.

Course was in "excellent condition" for this time of the year. The new management has completely turned this course around. It's back to the conditions it was when the "skins games" were held. Probably the best value in the area unless you are resident of La Quinta and have a resident card to play Silver Rock a "must play" course if you are a snow bird.
